Masters
The Masters Rowing Program provides continued rowing opportunities for anyone with previous rowing experience in the community. The program is flexible and encourages graduates of Learn-to-Row, High School, and College teams to continue instructional rowing or to train as part of a competitive crew team. Practice times vary with individual crews. In general, sculling and sweep crews row from late spring until early fall. The crews row most often in the early mornings or early evenings and weekends.

Juniors
The LRC Juniors Rowing Team has been around since Fall 2021. While the team has been growing and getting faster over these past three years we are continuing to push our High School athletes to not only love the sport but also to develop into responsible young adults, teammates, and friends. The skills that are learned from being involved in a team sport, (especially rowing, where every seat matters as each athlete depends on their teammates to get across the finish line), will be embedded with these junior rowers throughout their lives.
For more information about our season, goals, coaching staff, and anything else check out our Juniors website.

Spring 2025 Adult Learn to Row
The Masters Learn-to-Row Program seeks to provide introductory rowing lessons for beginners in a welcoming environment. Lessons focus on proper technique and safety on the Ohio River. We teach a variety of aspects that are involved in the rowing world including: sculling (two oars), sweeping (one oar), indoor rowing (using the Concept 2 ergometer), and coxing (the eyes and brain of the boat - steering and instructing rowers through their practices).
This series of classes will cover the basics of rowing, safety, and working together with other rowers. The goal is that at the end of the class, you will have enough working knowledge to hop into our other recreational and racing boats. (Yes, you can race, too!)
Once you complete the class, you will be a full member of the club and able to row in all boats that go out, or on your own in a single.
$600 for Class and 2025-26 LRC Membership
